Travel This Fall to Turkey
Paul, the Seven Churches and Early Church History
Pastor Mark is organizing a group tour to Turkey this October (9-23). Co-leader for the trip is Al Sandalow, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Ellensburg. Turkey is an amazing country - rich in natural beauty, culture, history and archeology. As the very cradle of Christianity, it is of great significance to Christians. The trip will be preceded by a series of gatherings (TALKING TURKEY) to prepare us for our journey together. Preview brochures are available at the Welcome Center and info will soon be online. Questions? Talk to Mark.

Women’s Bible Study News
A study of the Lord's Prayer called Fifty-Seven Words That Changed the World: a Journey Through the Lord's Prayer, by Darrell W. Johnson, begins May 4, Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Sunday School Room. Nowhere is Jesus' brilliance more manifest than in the prayer he taught disciples to pray, the prayer that has come to be known as the "Lord's Prayer." A mere fifty-seven words in the original Greek, the Lord's Prayer gathers up all of life and brings it before God. In eight stirring meditations, Darrell Johnson shows how the Lord's Prayer sums up the essence of Christian faith and, when prayed in faith, draws us into the Triune God's work of transforming the world. Contact Robin Suh at (425) 220-8470 for books and more information.
