Congregational Care at MPC

One of the Church's distinctions within the culture through the centuries has been the way it has cared for people. The Church has followed in Jesus' footsteps by seeking to ease human frailty and suffering by caring for their most pressing physical, emotional and spiritual needs.  Congregational care at mpc seeks to carry on the compassionate work of Jesus in our community.

arkALMIGHTY

ArkALMIGHTY is a good deeds ministry that matches up the needs in ourcongregation with the talents and skills of our members. gathering the needs of our folks, these requests are compiled on a craigslist-type website administered by mpc's arkALMIGHTY team. the needs are published (without names) and members can easily search through them and find ways they can help. if you have a particular need or if you would like to help others, please go to: arkalmighty.com and push on the GO button to find mpc.

How Care Resources Are Mobilized

  • Needs are reported to the church secretary (425-355-2802), church staff, elder or deacon
  • Needs are reported to the congregational care coordinator
  • Coordinator contacts appropriate resource leader
  • Resources are engaged and respond to need
  • Follow up conducted by coordinator or church staff

A "congregational care request" form (pink card in the chair rack or at the welcome center) may also be filled out (please fill it out only for yourself) and placed in the offering plate or returned to the office.

All matters will be treated confidentially.
