MPC Student Ministries Auction - May 18
The MPC Student Ministries Auction is quickly approaching. Items for donation are being actively sought. Items that may be donated and can be auctioned off include: sports or event tickets (Mariners, Sounders, Storm, symphony or theater), hand made crafts or quilts, boat or plane trips that offer activities like sightseeing, fishing, etc., the use of vacation properties, cabins, condos or time share units, and items or services from your business. Or, think about where you do business. Might your hair salon, grocery store, florist, golf club, favorite restaurant, hotel, health club, car detailer or landscaper donate time, services or items? Please ask them! Themed baskets for silent auction are also needed. Consider themes like Husky/Cougar gear, car repair, cooking, college dorm, travel, pet care, sports equipment, rainy day games, picnic, wine & cheese, books & movies, bath & spa. If you have a small item it may be grouped with other like or complementary items for sale. MPC Student ministries gratefully accepts all donations for this important fundraising event. If possible, donations should be turned in by May 4th. It’s also time to return your dinner reservation cards so we know you’re coming! Please contact Jim Beirne: (425) 344-4653 or jimmyb@mpclife.com for more information. Thank you! Complete MPC Student Ministries schedule information and the latest parent letter is available at the MPC Student Ministries Facebook page: http://www.Facebook.com/mpcstudents, or connect with your smart phone.

MPC Family Camp
at Lakeside Bible Camp

May 25 - 27
It’s time again to start planning to attend Family Camp on Memorial Day weekend! Camp will be held at Lakeside Bible Camp on Whidbey Island again this year. This year the theme is, “Companions of the Jesus Way. “Jesus did not give explicit lectures and seminars on how to live in the kingdom of God. He simply said, ‘Follow me.’” (Eugene Peterson, The Message) What does it mean to follow Jesus today, to be his traveling companions? By virtue of our baptism and our commitment to Christ we are his disciples - students of Jesus, apprenticed to him. We are all beginners in following Jesus, and that is one reason we need each other as companions on the way of Jesus. At camp this year we will discover the difference between calling ourselves “Christian” and committing ourselves to a life of discipleship - apprenticed to Jesus and traveling companions on the Jesus way. Please see Rhonda Schmidtgall in the East Room today to sign up to attend this popular annual event. Contact Tom Salmon with questions: (425) 212-2657 or tom@mpclife.com.
